Assignment Title: Feeding Our Future Recipe Assignment: Creamy Chicken and Tomato Pasta

What I learned: In this assignment I learned how to develop a recipe that contains the step by step direction. I learned that I had to do extensive research on the recipe and provide all the information needed for the health content and food safety. Order to effectively present information; I had to consider literacy level by using simple Terminology and to keep concepts organized, and neat that this recipe and method of preparations will be applied.

Reflection to assignment: This assignment made me realize the importance not only a recipe but all the other information that one should receive such as food safety, nutrition facts, cost, cost per person, and easy to follow directions. It also helped me realize the importance of engaging the audience, being creative and to be visually persuasive.

Relevance to the profession: In any setting such as nutrition, clinical, or foodservice clients are always looking for affordable, healthy, and easy recipes. The purpose is to provide all this information for them. Many individuals may not know all these aspects. This is a way for the nutritionist or registered dietician to help clients by teaching patients nutritional options they will enjoy that is cheaper.
